MaQueba, a 2023 Jackson State University graduate, is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at Iowa State University in the Ivy College of Business Management and Entrepreneurship Department. Her research intersects organizational behavior, human resource management, and the future of work (cutting-edge technologies such as AI and blockchain). Her scholarly efforts are concentrated on how the introduction of innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain can redefine organizational justice, shaping fair workplace practices, equitable employee management, and overall organizational culture.

MaQueba is passionate about teaching multicultural students. She has taught various schools such as an HBCU, HSI, and PWI, where she has received glowing evaluations from each type of institution. MaQueba has taught courses such as Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Compensation and Benefits, and Principles of Management.

Outside of research and teaching, MaQueba enjoys biking, long-distance running, working out, traveling, investing in real estate, volunteering in the community, and learning new skill sets.
